A one-off seaweed 'reef' neck piece. Solid cast sterling silver motifs handmade by Sharon McSwiney in St Ives, Cornwall.
The silver has been both polished to a bright finish which highlights the textured surfaces & the Porthmeor 'fragment' piece/seaweed frond have been oxidised.
The pendant is suspended on a sterling silver belcher chain weight approx 15 g in total & measures approx 17 1/2" in length. This necklace is hallmarked. The piece measures approx 36 mm long x 35 mm wide.
