Solid sterling silver cast limpet shell earrings, the original shell was found on Porthmeor beach in St Ives, Cornwall. The silver has been polished to highlight the highly textured surface. These new variations to the limpet theme are a different type of shell to the ones I usually find called a common keyhole limpet. The textured surface is really wonderful!
SIZE: The shell measures approx. 12mm wide x 18mm long. The earring posts & butterflies are also sterling silver. The weight of the pair of earrings is approx 5g making them nice & lightweight to wear all day!
