Mother's Day Designs

As Valentine's is nearly upon us I thought I'd plan ahead & get my Mother's Day designs prepared..... I'm printing these on the cream card like the Animal Alphabet etc. I might go back & introduce some pink or orange areas at a later date. At least I have some to put on the shelves after the weekend!

Christmas Angels

These are my latest Christmas creations.

Copper and brass decorative angels available in two sizes.

Small measure 10.5cm by 8cm, and large 13.5cm by 10cm.

Available from my Bransford studio or at one of the retail

events I will be showing at over the next few weeks!

Groovy Reindeer!

Just had some new arrivals at the studio!

Couldn't resist these handmade reindeer...rather rustic made from logs & twigs they could be displayed inside or out. I think a pair would look lovely outside the front door?

Each one is slightly different & could be used again & again... you could even use holly for the antlers? They are quite tall at about 100cm.

I hadn't made any of my mermaid brooches for a while & after a few requests at recent shows I thought I'd make some again....

These are in the copper finish & measure approx 10cm in length.

It's all a bit frantic at the studio at the moment! I'm trying to make as many metalwork panels & pictures as possible for next week as I have 2 events booked for the weekend, plus a delivery for an exhibition.

On the list of things to do also are Christmas cards.....

These are some of the metalwork designs I'm doing this year. I'm mounting them as with my other cards on window mounts on smaller size cards. They will be approx 10cm x 10cm cards in red, green or cream. Priced at £3 each. I am producing some of the designs in etched copper in addition to the usual etched brass.

There should be a selection out in the studio by this weekend!!

Dancing birds

Made these rather bonkers dancing birdies this afternoon.......

Stripey Cats!

I'd run out of the 'Lucky Black Cats' at the studio so while I was making some more I had the idea to make some striped cats. By applying the flux carefully on to the brass you can control the pattern to some extent. I think these first attempts are quite nice!

Mirrors

As the Animal Alphabet badges are proving to be popular I've also got some of the designs made into pocket mirrors....

I'm planning to package some of them alongside the badges which will make a cute gift hopefully.

New Christmas card designs

These are my new Christmas designs for this year... I've done them in the same manner as the Alphabet Animals which is quite different from my metalwork cards. I've really enjoyed doing some drawing again for these. It's far too early to put them out on display yet (unlike in some of the high street stores already!) Christmas displays usually go out in my studio at the end of October!
